Trump’s Ear

Trump listens to many people but unfortunately to the wrong people. When he banned us from serving in the military he said he consulted with “his generals” (beside the fact that they are our generals, not his) it has been found out that he really talked to right wing religious bigots. Right Wing Watch reported that it was,
Tony Perkins: FRC Worked With White House To Stop Transgender ‘Cultural Grenade’

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins appeared on “Breitbart News Daily” yesterday to boast of the his group’s far-reaching influence in the Trump administration, arguing that Trump’s recent announcement that he would ban transgender people from serving in the military was in part the result of FRC’s collaboration with the White House.

When Alex Marlow, the host of the program, asked Perkins if he saw President Trump’s Twitter declaration of the policy change—which took even many people in the Pentagon by surprise—coming, Perkins responded that he “was not surprised” because the FRC has been “working with the White House” in order to obstruct the “cultural grenade” of the Obama-era policy that paved the way for allowing transgender people to serve openly in the military. While Perkins conceded that he “didn’t know what the exact action” was that the administration would take, he “knew they were going to do something.”

Perkins also credited FRC with Defense Secretary James Mattis’ decision earlier this month to delay the planned integration of openly transgender troops, saying that the organization had “been working with the White House and alerting them” about the transgender inclusion policy “and the implications of this, and so that’s when you saw the Secretary of Defense Mattis giving a six-month extension.”

“I was not surprised,” Perkins said, “I knew the president was dealing with this.”
Those who have Trump’s ear are white supremacist, religious fanatics, and fasists.

The FRC has stated goals, in a 2016 the Huffington Post wrote that,
And Then They Came for Transgender People
By Brynn Tannehill

When the anti-transgender student bill in South Dakota passed, it was the first step in a plan to eradicate transgender people from American life. Last year, the Family Research Council laid out a five point plan to legislate transgender people out of existence by making the legal, medical, and social climate too hostile for anyone to transition in.
  1. States and the federal government should not allow legal gender marker changes.
  2. Transgender people should not have any legal protections against discrimination, nor should anyone be forced to respect their identity.
  3. Transgender people should not be legally allowed to use facilities in accordance with their gender identity.
  4. Medical coverage related to transition should not be provided by the government, or any other entity.
  5. Transgender people should not be allowed to serve in the military.
Stop for a moment here, and imagine a world where you can’t get an accurate government ID. A world where you can’t vote, can’t drive without risking arrest, and can’t get a job. You cannot prove that you are who you are, because no one will believe your ID is real. You will never be treated as your correct gender by any government agency. What ID you have will constantly out you as transgender, inviting discrimination. Perfectly legal discrimination, if part two of their plan succeeds.
I believe these are the goals of the Trump administration.

We see it in Trump military ban, in Attorney General Session’s staying he will not enforce Titles VII and IX civil rights laws, we see Secretary of Education  DeVos rescinding the Office of Civil Rights the transgender policies of president Obama and now we see it in Attorney General Session’s panel to look into discrimination of white college students.

My guess is that we are going to see something about lesbians and gays in the military, we have already seen it in Attorney General Session’s stance in a court case where a gay man said he was discriminated against at work and Title VII covers him because of the Supreme Court case of Price Waterhouse v. Hopkins where they ruled that sex also covers sex stereotyping.

The Trump and the Republican administration want to force us back into the closet and set the clock back to 1950,
