What Did You Expect?

When you hire someone who does drag and has feminine features, what do you expect them to look like? You cannot expect them to “butch” up their appearance.  

On the Black Entertainment Television (BET) emails has surfaced say that very thing,

Scott, an openly gay transgendered blogger, filed a discrimination lawsuit against BET and its parent company, Viacom, last summer

Celebrity blogger B. Scott’s lawsuit against BET and parent company Viacom for discrimination may have just got a big boost, because emails from executives admitting they didn’t want the transgender personality “looking like a woman” while hosting last summer’s BET Awards have leaked.

“I don’t want ‘looking like a woman B Scott,’” TMZ reports BET Music Programming president Stephen Hill wrote in an email right before the show.  “I want tempered B Scott.”

“I can speak to him about being less ‘womanly,’” BET vice president Rhonda Cowan responded in the alleged emails between executives discussing the matter.
B. Scott is an openly gay and transgender entertainer, so when you ask him to appear on the BET Awards show what you get is an openly gay and transgender performer, what did they expect?
